Architectural design of exhibition Culture and Art under the rule of the last of the Luxemburgs

The concept of the exhibition of medieval art in a purely baroque space, that means two completely different worlds in time and expression. The concept results from the idea of the nagation of the space of a picture gallery and focusing only on the embedded exposition and exhibits. The fundus of the exposition aims to be noteless, not to encourage attention, not to compete with the exhibits and per contra let them surpass. The exhibits have been arranged to 5m high panels, in show cases, sculptures on pedestals, reliefs on consoles anchored to the panels.

The exhibition won in The Architecture Grand Prix the National Architecture Award 2006 for Interior Design of the Year.
