The exhibition presents the legacy of sea voyage discoveries in their economic, social and other assumptions, course and consequences to the 21st century. The expressive appearance of the exhibition by using sails, wooden masts and rigging helps to create the spirit of sea voyages, and allows you to empathize with the seamen and discover all the accompanying phenomena related to seafaring. Exhibits are displayed in showcases, or as part of the sails installation. To complete the impression we used projections of images and movies, sound effects (sound of the sea and seagulls), wind blowing into the sails. The introduction of the exhibition displays the importance of imports of goods from overseas. In the centre there is an interactive globe with major routes of the discovery cruises. A section of Christopher Columbus´ cabin dominates the part about Discovering America. The exhibitions conclusion presents the major social and cultural phenomena accompanying the sea cruises.
