The exhibition celebrates the 100th aniversary of the historic Czechoslovak currency - the koruna. The exhibition shows the phenomenon and development of Czechoslovak and Czech banknotes, state notes and coins. Currency represents an extraordinary source, which reflects the fate of the state and its social and artistic and technical development. Visitors go through the story of the Czechoslovak and Czech crown from 1919 to the present, presented on original banknotes and their designs. In addition to the well-known banknotes from the present and past, the exhibition also shows unrealized designs, even banknotes that have been produced, but for political or other reasons have never been used.

The introductory part of the exhibition deals with the origin of the independent Czechoslovak currency and its name on the background of the Czech, Austrian and Hungarian royal crowns.

The exhibition hall is rhythmized by vaulted fields, where we placed a series of arched panels with installation of banknotes and their drawing designs. Each of the seven curved panels represents a historical period. The shape of the panel symbolizes a giant banknote. The idea is endorsed by a perspective installation of banknote bundles with authentic prints of true historical banknote motifs.

Between the arched panels representing the banknotes, there are round display cases which symbolize and contain coins.

The final part of the exhibition is conceived as a treasury for the top exhibit - a high-weight golden coin worth CZK 100 million, which was made to mark the 100th anniversary of the koruna. The high-weight coin is complemented by a commemorative banknote and a series of other commemorative silver coins and their designs.
